Lessons for Guitar And Piano in South Orange, NJ

As an educator

for over 20 years and a parent to two budding musicians myself, I understand the importance of accessible and affordable music lessons that don’t sacrifice quality, experience, and professionalism.

A wealth of experience

I have played professionally for over a decade. Currently, I play as the lead guitarist for one of the most successful wedding bands in the area. I have taught both K-12 as a certified public school teacher and privately. Combined with my professional playing experience,

I know the best ways to teach valuable skills

and theory to both beginners and advanced players alike. There are many schools in the area charging outrageous prices for music lessons, many times with unqualified unvetted music teachers. I believe everyone should have access to quality music lessons no matter their budget or situation. I strive to provide quality instruction at reasonable prices at the same time as providing flexible and forgiving scheduling to meet the needs of modern day families.

Beyond just teaching music I believe there is a component of community, passion, and curiosity that needs to be fostered in students. In order to assure success.

Family involvement in the process for younger students is key.

I work with students to develop performance opportunities and embrace modern day technologic approaches to learning and playing music for the best results.
